Call for Presenters: Share Your Expertise at NMTESOL’s Fall Knowledge Harvest!

Are you passionate about TESOL education? Do you have innovative practices, tools, or research that could benefit educators working with English Language Learners? If so, we want to hear from you!

NMTESOL is excited to announce our annual Fall Knowledge Harvest, a virtual gathering of educators and TESOL professionals from across New Mexico. This event, scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 at 4:30 PM MT, is a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and share the latest in TESOL education. But we need YOU to make it even more impactful!

Why Present at the Fall Knowledge Harvest?

Presenting at this event is a great way to:

  • Share your expertise and insights with peers
  • Inspire and influence fellow educators
  • Contribute to a community dedicated to advancing English language teaching
  • Gain visibility and recognition for your work

This year’s theme, Current Trends & Tools in TESOL Education, invites educators to dive into the most up-to-date practices shaping the field. Whether you’ve developed a new teaching tool, researched an emerging trend, or experimented with innovative classroom strategies, we encourage you to submit a proposal.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking interactive, engaging sessions that go beyond traditional lectures. Attendees love sessions that spark discussions, promote collaboration, and offer practical takeaways that can be immediately implemented in their classrooms. Each presenter will have 15-20 minutes to share their content with the whole group in a virtual panel or presentation format. Afterward, presenters will facilitate 15-20 minutes of breakout room discussions, answering questions and engaging in deeper conversation with participants.

We especially encourage educators from across New Mexico to share their insights, as we know our state is filled with talented, experienced professionals who have a wealth of knowledge to offer.
